As we are continue our #SuitUpGH campaign to get Guelph-Humber students to join DECA and DECA-UGH, we want to take this time to tell you about our amazing training initiative for this year!
MEET YOUR 2015-2016 DECA-UGH MENTORS!
Get your chance to meet our six DECA-UGH mentors!
Our mentoring team consists of individuals that have experience in various specialization such as accounting, finance, marketing and consulting, and that have a deep relationship with the University of Guelph-Humber that include current students, recently graduated students and Guelph-Humber alumni!
DECA-UGH mentors provide one-on-one support throughout your DECA career in the year that will assist you in preparing yourself in analyzing cases, being able to present with confidence, and soft-skills such as networking skills prior on attending invitationals and the Provincial conference. Mentors can also provide additional tips on how to navigate through the everyday life at University of Guelph-Humber such as deciding on a specialization or learning about their experiences in the business world.

If you're curious about what a DECA case looks like and how to "kill it"? Look no further!
We will hold our Introduction to Cases for Guelph-Humber students that want to know how to read through and analyze a DECA case, as well as knowing how to present your ideas that you've developed with confidence and enthusiasm!
We strongly recommend all first and second year students, as well as all first-time DECA-UGH delegates attend this important events as you will learn a lot of skills, tricks, and techniques from our executives and mentors that can secure your spot on the podium and come home with a medal!
Again we will be using Eventbrite for the purpose of tracking delegate attendance for logistic purposes and delegate involvement.
We will be holding two session on Wednesday October 28th, 2015, one at 10:45AM in GH302 and one at 2:25PM in GH325. To attend either one of the sessions, please register your spot in the respective session through the Eventbrite widget below:
